Abstract

Audi Crisalis is a compact urban mobility concept that separates the private passenger capsule from a shared traction platform. The cabin consists of two semi-rigid shells connected by a shape-memory structure, allowing it to fold and reduce its volume when not in use. Once detached, the capsule can be stored vertically in a dedicated parking station. Flexible polymer seat frames collapse together with the body and support two interior configurations: a spacious single-seater or two facing seats. The project combines modular propulsion, transformable architecture and high-density urban storage.
