Abstract

The Ferrari Dino 806 GT explores the idea of a compact, lightweight and more accessible Ferrari, developed from an original 2018 concept sketch. Its proportions are defined by extremely short overhangs, particularly at the rear, creating a concentrated silhouette shaped around the mechanical architecture. The body is conceived as a single sculpted volume, visually separated from the technical components beneath it. Carbon fibre and black polycarbonate are used to reduce the visual presence of functional elements, allowing the bodywork to emerge as one continuous and immediately recognisable form. Developed through an integrated digital workflow combining Alias, Maya, Houdini and Redshift, the project investigates the relationship between precise surface modelling, procedural design and visualisation.
