Abstract

Funzioni is a series of visual experiments that investigates motion as a generative function for both form and color. Built procedurally in Houdini through particle systems, each composition emerges from rule-based behaviors and evolving fields rather than manual placement. Color is sampled directly from movement attributes, such as velocity, direction, and acceleration, translating dynamics into chromatic gradients that make the invisible logic of the simulation legible.
